This was my last wedding for 2016 and what a gorgeous one it was! I was fortunate enough to pick this wedding up from my friend and colleague Carmen Roberts who unfortunately tore her ACL and was unable to work during December. Having photographed in Swaziland before, I was more than happy to assist Carmen and pick up Alex and Pokes’ very special day.
Morgan and I actually partied with the guests till 1 in the morning, we can’t remember the last time we did that! The Swazi’s really do know how to throw a party! Live music along with two DJ’s…the dance floor was burning all night long!
Alex is from America and was lucky enough to share this day with her closest family and friends who flew out for the special occasion. Pokes is a born and bread Swazi farm boy who instantly charmed his way into this sweet Americans heart. I can’t remember a moment of the day that Alex was not thanking us or someone for making it to her wedding. Or when Mark was not looking at his gorgeous wife in disbelief that she was finally his.
Thank you so much for having us guys, this was certainly one for the books! We wish you both every happiness in this wonderful life! Enjoy the memories.
