I love you more than Salt.

If someone had said that to me, I would probably be a bit confused. I love you more than chocolate, yes! Or even diamonds and gold…yes I have heard that before. But not salt.
After questioning Dan and Sharky (as Charms is affectionately known) about their choice of cake topper, they told me a tale about a a king and his daughters and how he thought his one daughter did not love him enough as she compared her love for him to something as simple as salt. As the tale unfolds it becomes apparent how great her love for him actually is as salt is the flavour life. It is in everything, it improves every meal, it heals our wounds and refreshes our souls when we swim in the sea.

So, this is the kind of love that Dan and Sharky share.  One that takes many forms and fulfils many duties. It is a love that adds flavour to life and can turn something so simple, into something so wonderful…and that, I think, is pretty darn special!
